This policy covers the information you send us through the quotation form on this website, and what happens to it afterwards.

Who we are

ZZPCBA operates this website. For anything in this policy — including requests to access or delete your information — write to chelsea@zzpcba.com.

What the quotation form collects

Service types you select

Which of PCB manufacturing, PCBA manufacturing or component sourcing your enquiry covers.

Your name and company

So we know who we are quoting for and how to address the reply.

Your business email address

Used to reply to your enquiry and to send the quotation.

The project details you type

Board type, quantity, layers, material, surface finish, target lead time and anything else you choose to describe.

Submission metadata

The time of submission and a one-way hash of the connecting IP address used to detect abusive submissions. We do not store the raw IP address with your enquiry.

The form does not accept file uploads. If you have Gerber, drill, BOM or drawing files, send them to chelsea@zzpcba.com quoting your RFQ reference; they are handled as ordinary email correspondence and never stored by this website.

Why we hold it

Only to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation: reviewing your documentation, confirming build requirements, pricing the work and corresponding with you about it. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles from it, and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored

Enquiry details are stored in a private database hosted on Cloudflare, which is not publicly readable and has no public download address. The notification that tells us an enquiry has arrived is delivered by email through Resend, which therefore processes your email address and the enquiry details for that purpose. Cloudflare and Resend act as service providers for hosting, storage and email delivery.

Files you send by email are held in our email system, not on this website, and are never served from a public address.

How long it is kept

Your enquiry — your name, company, email address, the services selected, the details you typed and the submission time — is kept for as long as the enquiry is open and any quotation or order that results from it is being handled. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for accounting or legal reasons, in which case we will tell you what applies.

Files sent by email follow the retention of the mailbox they arrived in, subject to the same right to ask us to delete them.

How files are handled

Files sent to us by email are treated as untrusted. They are checked before being opened or used, are never executed, and are never unpacked automatically.

To be explicit: this website does not run automated virus scanning, and files are not scanned automatically when they arrive. Treating them as untrusted and checking before use is the control that is actually in place, and it is described here rather than claimed as something more.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The quotation form keeps a small amount of information in your browser's session storage — the reference of a submission you have just made — so that a page reload does not lose your quotation reference. That information stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. For this reason the site does not show a cookie banner.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to chelsea@zzpcba.com and we will respond. If you would rather not use the form at all, send the same enquiry by email instead — the quotation can be prepared the same way.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how long we keep it changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
