PCB Manufacturing and PCBA Manufacturing for Global Buyers
Printed circuit boards, assembled boards and the components that go onto
them, for overseas OEMs, industrial electronics companies and electronics
manufacturers. ZZPCBA has run fabrication and assembly since 2005, with an
8,000 m² facility and more than 300 staff covering prototype builds through
to series production.
Four services covering a board from bare fabrication through assembly and
component supply, with prototype work running on the same documentation as
production.
Rigid, double-sided, multilayer, flexible, HDI, aluminium, high-frequency and heavy copper boards, produced from your Gerber and drill files with the build requirements confirmed before production.
What we need from you: Gerber and drill files, stack-up, quantity
Surface-mount, through-hole, mixed technology and BGA assembly on YAMAHA placement lines, with components supplied under turnkey, consignment or mixed arrangements.
What we need from you: BOM, pick-and-place data, assembly drawing
BOM lines reviewed one by one for package, quantity and lifecycle status, with availability, MOQ and lead time checked before quotation and alternatives proposed for your approval.
What we need from you: BOM with quantities and approved alternatives
Prototype boards and assembled samples produced from the same files that are used for the production run, so a design that passes at prototype stage does not need re-engineering.
What we need from you: Gerber or BOM, target quantity, required date
Fabrication, assembly and component supply are handled as one production
flow, so a board does not have to be re-specified as it moves from bare
board to assembled unit.
PCB fabrication
Rigid, double-sided and multilayer boards
Flexible (FPC), HDI, aluminium, high-frequency and heavy copper boards
ENIG, OSP and HASL surface finishes
High-TG and halogen-free laminates
Multilayer stack-ups, fine-line circuitry, drilling and controlled impedance
PCBA manufacturing
SMT placement, DIP/THT insertion and wave soldering
Mixed technology and BGA assembly
Turnkey, consignment and mixed component supply
AOI, X-Ray and visual inspection
Dry ice cleaning where contamination control is required
Prototyping and sourcing
Prototype boards and assembled samples
Small-batch and series production from the same documentation
BOM review with availability, MOQ and lead-time checks
Alternative parts proposed for approval, never substituted silently
Incoming material verification against the approved BOM
Layer count, base material, finished thickness, copper weight, surface
finish and impedance targets are confirmed per project against the
documentation you supply. Specific build limits are stated in the quotation
rather than assumed here.
Production Facilities & Equipment
Fabrication and assembly run under one roof, which keeps the material,
process and inspection record for an order in one place.

Placement, printing, reflow and inspection equipment is used for both
prototype and series orders. Process detail is set out on the
PCBA manufacturing page.
Quality Assurance
Quality control runs from incoming material through to final inspection,
with production records kept per order so a delivered batch can be traced
back to the material and process behind it.

Incoming inspection
Laminate and components are checked against the approved documentation
before release to production.
In-process checks
Each production stage is checked against the build documentation agreed
for the order.
AOI and X-Ray
Automated optical inspection and X-Ray are applied to assembled boards,
including BGA and other hidden joints.
Visual and final inspection
Finished units are checked against the agreed acceptance criteria before
dispatch.
Functional testing is arranged to your test specification where the project
calls for it; the method and coverage are agreed during quotation. Records
covering material, process and inspection results are retained per order for
traceability.
How It Works
Six stages from first email to dispatch. Nothing is released to production
until the scope has been confirmed in writing.
Send your files
Gerber and drill data for bare boards; BOM, pick-and-place data and assembly drawings for assembled boards. Quantities and technical requirements go in the same message.
Requirements confirmed
The documentation is reviewed, gaps are identified, and build requirements — material, finish, stack-up or supply model — are confirmed before pricing.
Quotation issued
A written quotation sets out the scope, material and sourcing position, and the acceptance criteria that will apply.
Material prepared
Laminate is allocated and components are procured or checked in, with shortages reported before production rather than after.
Manufacturing
Fabrication, assembly or both run against the confirmed documentation, with in-process checks at each stage.
Inspection and delivery
Finished boards are inspected against the agreed criteria, records are retained, and the order is packed for dispatch.
Why ZZPCBA
Manufacturing since 2005
Two decades of board fabrication and assembly experience, applied to every order rather than reserved for large accounts.
One production chain
Fabrication, assembly and component supply sit in the same facility, so the handover between stages stays inside one workflow.
Flexible component supply
Turnkey, consignment or mixed supply — the model follows your stock and contract position, not ours.
Prototype to production
Prototype and series orders are built from the same files, so an approved design does not need to be re-engineered before volume.
FAQ
What files do I need for a quotation?
For bare boards, Gerber and drill files plus your build notes. For assembled boards, a BOM, pick-and-place data and an assembly drawing. Quantities and any technical requirements should be in the same message. If part of the documentation is still open, describe what you have and it will be resolved during review.
What is the difference between PCB and PCBA?
A PCB is the bare board produced from your Gerber data. PCBA — printed circuit board assembly — is that board after components have been placed and soldered onto it, which requires a BOM and assembly data in addition to the fabrication files.
Do you supply the components or do I?
Either. Under turnkey supply the BOM is procured against your order. Under consignment you supply the components and we assemble. Mixed supply splits the BOM line by line, which suits projects where some parts are already held or under contract.
Can you source hard-to-find parts?
BOM lines are checked for availability, minimum order quantity, lead time and lifecycle status before quotation. Where a part cannot be supplied as specified, an alternative is proposed for your approval, or the line is reported back to you. Nothing is substituted automatically.
Do you handle both prototypes and volume?
Yes. Prototype and production quantities are both quoted, and they are built from the same documentation, so a design that passes at prototype stage carries into the production run without being re-specified.
Which quality standards apply?
ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 cover the management systems. IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 are used as acceptance standards for boards and assemblies. UL covers product safety certification and REACH covers substance compliance. Where you have your own acceptance criteria, they are written into the quotation.
How are alternative parts handled?
Any proposed alternative is put to you with the reason — availability, lead time, minimum quantity or lifecycle status — and the comparison covers electrical parameters, package, temperature range and lifecycle. Nothing is fitted without your written approval.
How is the quotation confirmed?
You receive a written quotation covering scope, material, sourcing position and acceptance criteria. Production is released once you confirm that quotation.
